Classmates this is somewhat a sad time for us all. We lose each other for a short time, (until graduation and we will all graduate), but knowing we'll see each other somewhere can warm the cockles of my heart. You like that, huh? Cockles of my heart. :)) Any who, I'd like to say I enjoyed my classes with you guys and I hope I was okay as well. You gave me some outlooks on writing I never thought of.
It's strange how people you can't see or verbally talk to can affect the things you think and do. I know you look at the influences of what goes on in the world and think, what the heck is he saying? But the world is different. It affects our lives. What we have is an affect on the ideas we each create. My classmates have said things in generally talking that I either didn't know or I genuinely overlooked or mistook to be something other than what it was.
Well you all, cleared a lot of things for me and brought a lot of tings to the forefront for me and I thank you.
I hope to see you somewhere down the road of life and we can enjoy a really silly laugh together. I wish my classmates; Peace.
For my Teacher. I want to thank-you from the bottom of my heart for showing me the way in writing. The best thing you did for me was to give me a way to express my feelings. Feelings which were a bunch of pent up emotions that had no relief.
Through the blog I've found a voice and a release. I found this, even if no one ever reads a word I've written. I know it's out there and some day, some time, some one is going to stumble across my little writing and say; the Last Angry Man, was here and this is what he said.
I'm not sure how well my writings will go over with some and frankly I don't care because these are things as I see them, but I do know a lot of stress has found it's way out of my life and I thank you.
I also thank you for giving the love to write again. I hated writing after my first comp class, but you've shown me a teacher who didn't take herself to serious but took our learning very serious and always wanted us to do well. Always willing to spend your time to help us be better, all we had to o was ask. You said, to me, when making mistake and laughing at yourself or telling a joke to keep us alive, that you were just like us. Though you have the knowledge we seek to acquire, you're niether better or worse than we are.
I, for one appreciate you being just like me. Capable of mistakes and easy to say, oops. Thank-you professor, because I came " a long way baby" to get where I, almost, am today. :-)) The next class is getting someone special.
To all you "solders of love", I bid farewell. See you in another class. Remember; DO what you do, and all will be well.
Sincerely,
Ron Williams

Hi guys. Today I'm going a little off course, because there are several life problems that have been bothering me. VIOLENCE. Just plain VIOLENCE
Violence in the home, violence in the workplace, violence in our children, violence in the streets, violence in the church, yes I said church and then there's violence in our government. To much of one thing does not make it a good thing.
I'm a kid born in the 1940's after the supposedly Great War. For the life of me I still can't figure what was so great about the loss of so many lives. I guess it was a purge some kind of a special world cleansing, Huh, with world war 2 having over 840,000 Japanese citizens killed.
Oh sure everyone says they had it coming for attacking Pearl Harbor, but let's take a look at that.
History and Government loudspeakers, (the governments boasting's), says, the Japanese pilots flew over the island and attacked the military of the United States there's never any mention of any civilian casualties. Then there's the matter of the A Bomb and 840,000 civilians killed maimed and scarred for generations, then we, (the United States Citizens), boast of our power and mighty justice.
From this scenario we teach our children world history in school. We tell them it is alright to kill. We stress to our children only "in moderation". So our children leave school and they practice soldering, get together in groups and go kick some unknowingly weak childs butt. We allow video games to be created that are an absolute path to violence and we say," it's the constitutional right to manufacture these games and we cannot take away free speech." We send our youngsters off to battle in lands that have no purpose use to us and we say, " hip hip hooray we guard the world". But our boys and girls die and never get the chance to find out that there was no success brought on by their deaths. These countries still reside in conflict and some parent will never see a grandchild from these young men and women, but of course the children of politicians are exempt.
We teach violence and we tell our citizens, "you can't use the violence we teach you in America." Then America kills our youth. We show movies and Television shows that get high ratings because of the violence and say they cannot be censored because of the country's first amendment rights.
Our politicians say "no one should have nuclear arms but the USA", and we, the people say, "damn right." Bullies in our schools and we shake our heads and say, "I wonder where that came from?" Don't spank your child, that begets violence, but the police can kill my child, maime my child and incarcerate my child while arresting me because I did not manage my child's behavior.
All my Presidents say war is not what we do, but I hear the call for thousands of young volunteers to train to be violent somewhere in the world. On the news April 20, 2010 politicians were saying," because of our children being obese our country's level of security could be compromised." Can you imagine what the people we elected are thinking? How are they going to put our children in harm's way now and what is the message and level of violence are they putting on our streets?
After the protests of the 1960s and 70's our Government quietly took a stand to incarcerate or terminate those who are considered agitators and speak to loudly against the moves of this country, and as you can see the only leaders we have are the politicians in Washington every one else is either afraid or has become the "fat cat" and afraid to lose their payday. Justice be hanged.
No more Abby Hoffman's and the Chicago 8. No more Kent State College students taking a stance, because if you do your scholarship is gone and so are you.
Where's the next Stokely Carmichael's or Huey P. Newton's? Where is the next Dr. Martin Luther King and Malcolm X? We've gone soft exposed to too much economics, our debt, poverty, joblessness and fear of one another, to see anything but what we fear the most. Fear itself.
This violence has got to end, not be brought to a minimum but to a complete end. I understand that's a lot to ask of human beings, but because we are so intelligent it should be a given that we as a whole earthly race can make a change. We can show our children a more positive prospect on life and still spank that butt when they are out of bounds. (smile) It's us because when we are gone this generation of kids may be lost and conquered by invaders from who knows where if we don't help bring reality back to life.
Like Marvin says,"what's going on." "I tell you what's going on".
I'm sorry I'm off message today, but I had to say this it's been stuck in my craw for quite some time and I see no end in sight. Sometimes you know you can't change a thing but you figure with a little help from your friends you can get the ball started, although we'll be rolling up a steep hill we got to try and fix this problem before it's much to late.
Thank-you guys for listening and being a friend.

Today is peer review and an AhHa moment. Not cool for me because I'm being forced into action and I don't like judging the writings of others. Mainly because I have no idea what the feeling is behind the writing. Granted I know what I like and to judge your work is to say whether I like it or not. Whether I think you are correct in your assessment or your creativity. I ma be wrong but I like doing that to established author who I can argue with and voice my opinion. To a fellow student I feel some of us are fragile in what we think otehrs should think of us and what we hope is always perfect or at least good. I'm a coward. So what, maybe I should feel truth, but can I take the truth from you? Maybe. Noooooo. I'm going to takke a stab at this peer review, because by the time you find me I'll have moved to Florida. Ooops, gave away the location. Anywho, I'm going to try and be honest in my assessment but I'd be more comfortable bulding you up than saying something I felt might hurt.
Ah ha moment is now.

Hi guys. Today it's about my introduction to my thesis. Ugggggh. I never get it right but I'll keep trying until I get tired of falling on my pen. :) Is that like a warrior falling on his sword? If it is he wouldn't have to many times to do that. :)
Anyway, here goes. If you guys have so good advice after reading this, please pass it on. I'll listen.
The Effect of Genetically Modified Food.
As recipients of our food supply from strangers, society has never worried about the food we eat. We never worry about the purity of what we eat because we, generally, leave it up to our Government agencies to direct our health affairs in the right direction. The direction of safety giving what we eat the stamp of approval for human consumption.
We look to the farmer to feed his livestock only natural healthy grains that carries no enzymes or bacterial substitutes. We, (Society), see our fruits and vegetables as natural as the air we breath.
Then there's now. We see food being plumped and prodded to make it larger and giving it a longer shelf life. We see chemical companies becoming involved in seedlings that grow more at a shorter length of time and all to serve the millions of people around the world who clammer for food and more food. But, have we forgotten to question and try to understand why we've moved to Genetically Modifying Foods, the issues of society's health brought on by this modification and the moral dilemma we face as a matter of serving these foods to our nation and developing countries around the world?
